Talking about my pilgrimage towards practicing His presence.
Lift up your heads, O you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.

Talkin' to me

This psalm talks to me, because God is leading me into something new right now, spiritual warefare with worship...

Psalm 45
My heart is stirred by a noble theme
as I recite my verses for the king;
my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer.

You are the most excellent of men
and your lips have been anointed with grace,
since God has blessed you forever.

Gird your sword upon your side, O mighty one;
clothe yourself with splendor and majesty.

In your majesty ride forth victoriously
in behalf of truth, humility and righteousness;
let your right hand display awesome deeds.

Let your sharp arrows pierce the hearts of the king's enemies;
let the nations fall beneath your feet.

Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever;
a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.

You love righteousness and hate wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions
by anointing you with the oil of joy.

All your robes are fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia;
from palaces adorned with ivory
the music of the strings makes you glad.

Luke, what I'd like to send you an e-mail to ask you a few things...no need to post your e-mail address here, for obvious privacy and spam-avoidance reasons, but you can go to my site and click my name, that's a direct link to my e-mail, and then I'll reply. Just curious to know a little more about you for context when reading your blog. Shalom.

I was searching the internet last night for information on Frank Laubach and somehow ran across your page with parts of two of his books online. I can't tell you how excited I got! Ever since I discovered Frank Laubach and Brother Lawrence I have begun this amazing journey to have unbroken communion with God, just like they did. And since then, amazing things have been happening. I just wanted to let you know that this time, you had a big part in that. Thank you for being a blessing! Bet you never thought you'd impact someone half a world away! Believe it or not, you just did.

Thank you very much for the encouragement. Tozer looked everywhere for people with the heart to surrender all to have it all, he called them the fellowship of the burning heart. It's so cool to hear from more and more people that they have this burning desire to go deep with God!

BTW I've lived in texas for a whole year :-)
